Jack Fellows: Douglas F4D Skyray With its unique delta-wing configuration, the Douglas F4D Skyray was capable of supersonic speeds and dazzlingly fast high altitude climbs. During the early years of the Cold War, the Skyray served the U.S. Navy and Marines well as one of their mainstay fighters.
