Gene Jarvis: Orbeopsis caudata Flower This plant occurs naturally in Zimbabwe and is widely distributed throughout the country. It is usually found among dead leaves in woodlands and often in sandy soil. The plant produces star-shaped flowers which span from five to ten centimeters and are usually lemon-yellow in color. The species is easy to reproduce from seed or from one of the stems of a mature plant.
