Shannon Stirnweis: Grenville Clark Grenville Clark was a strong advocate of not only world peace but civil liberties as well. Having studied law and politics at Harvard, Clark believed in promoting peace through the political theory of federalism. He authored two books on his plans for peace through federalism during the 1950s -- A Plan for Peace and World Peace Through World Law. Today, Clark's unique ideals for world peace continue to be promoted and taught through grants and awards of the Grenville Clark Fund at Dartmouth College.
