Seeking relief from the jungle's sweltering heat, a female Jaguar takes a cool drink from the water's edge. As her cubs frolic at her side, the mother cat's presence gives her young ones a sense of security they have come to depend upon. Blind at birth, the helpless juveniles quickly learn to rely on the warmth and nourishment that their mother unselfishly provides. As the months pass and the cubs become more independent this family bond remains strong. The doting matriarch spends two years preparing her children for survival in their jungle home.
