These gorgeous flowers were painted by Leonora Box to represent a floral bouquet from the people of Penrhyn to their Queen, Elizabeth II, on the occasion of her 60th birthday. Each of the Commonwealth countries issued special stamps to mark the occasion and each Fleetwood® cachet incorporated a floral bouquet.

This painting was originally published on the Fleetwood® First Day Cover for the Penryhn 60th Birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II stamp issue of April 21, 1986.
