These gorgeous flowers were painted by Leonora Box to represent a floral bouquet from the people of Samoa i Sisifo to their Queen, Elizabeth II, on the occasion of her 60th birthday. Each of the Commonwealth countries issued special stamps to mark the occasion and each Fleetwood® cachet incorporated a floral bouquet.

This painting was originally published on the Fleetwood® First Day Cover for the Samoa i Sisifo 60th Birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II stamp issue of April 21, 1986.
