The Golden-crowned Kinglet can be found from southern Alaska, across Canada, south in the western mountains of Guatemala, and east to N. Carolina. He winters in the Gulf States. Kinglets prefer to live in conifers, but also winter in other trees.

This artwork was originally published on the Fleetwood® Commemorative Cover for the limited edition collection of The Songbirds of the Fifty States. Each cover was postmarked on the anniversary of statehood in the appropriate state capital.
