Though about the size of a domestic house cat, the Leopard Cat -- honored beast of Brunei -- is one of the jungle's most savage animals. A night predator, the Leopard Cat feasts on small mammals and birds as well as on stolen poultry from local villages. Amazingly, this small cat even attacks such large prey as young muntjacs. A superb climber, the leopard Cat lives in the trees of Southeast Asian forests where it can nimbly tread along dangerously thin branches.
