Istanbul, the former capital of Turkey and once known as Constantinople, is probably the most famous and mystical city in Turkey. It is located in European Turkey (Asian Turkey makes up 97% of the country) and is a considerable treasure trove of noble traditional architecture. However, there are many modern buildings functioning alongside the older structures. This artwork features the splendid Hotel Talya in Antalya. Perched high on a rock overlooking the Mediterranean, this five-star hotel has 150 suites, many restaurants, swimming pools, tennis courts and many other amenities.
