The Zaluzianskya maritima or Night Phlox is a beautiful plant with tubular flowers which occur in terminal spikes. These night-bloomers fill the evening air with a delightful fragrance. There are nearly forty species of Zaluzianskya, and all of these are night-bloomers.

This artwork was originally published on the Fleetwood® First Day Cover for the Lesotho 5¢ Lebohlollo Flower stamp issued February 13, 1978.
