| Charlotte Knox British 1951 - Charlotte Knox was born in 1951 in
London, England, and received her training at the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art in Oxford before attending a postgraduate course in illustration at St. Martin's School of Art in London.
She specializes in watercolor and tempera illustration of foods and plants from around the world. Her work has appeared in several books, including Exotic Fruits and Vegetables (1986),
Seafood: A Connoisseur's Guide and Cookbook (1989), and Fruits: A Connoisseur's Guide and Cookbook (1991). She has also illustrated children's books and designed postage stamps for
the Royal Mail. Knox's works have been displayed in London, and in 1992, she won the W.H. Smith award for illustration and held an exhibition of her watercolors in New York. |
