| Chuck Ripper American 1929 - Chuck Ripper developed a keen
interest in art and nature as a young boy, and has since gained a reputation for outstanding wildlife illustrations. Ripper's works have appeared in numerous magazines, books, and on stationery
products. In addition, he has designed conservation stamps for the National Wildlife Federation (NWF). This prestigious organization awarded him the coveted Peregrine Award in 1989 for 30 years
of dedicated service and for providing NWF with over 400 stamp paintings. The U.S. Postal Service commissioned Ripper to create several stamp issues, including Coral Reefs, Wildlife Habitats,
Kitten and Puppy, and North American Wildlife. The latter comprised a sheet of 50 stamps that was voted the most popular issue of 1987. Ripper's passion for detail and accuracy lend his
paintings a sublime authenticity. If there is a secret to the steady demand for Ripper's work, it is his love for his subject matter and his painstaking research of various wildlife species and
their habitats. | Log Off | Home | Feedback | Mailing List | About Us | What's New | Stamp Agencies | Other Sites Customer Service | Site Search | Shopping Cart | My Personal Art Gallery | Terms of Use | Trademarks
