Gregory Rudd
American 1952 -

Born in Scottsdale, Arizona, Greg Rudd was inspired by the delightful designs of Norman Rockwell and the spectacular Arizona sunsets. He attended Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, and later worked at Hallmark Cards in Kansas City, Missouri, where he developed an interest in pursuing a career in freelance illustration. After training at a small advertising agency in Kansas City, Rudd moved to the east coast. He has designed several stamps for the U.S. Postal Service and has created numerous First Day Cover Issues. Rudd's illustrations have also appeared in the national sports magazines Golf Digest and Tennis Magazine. Rudd has created over 200 portraits for the American Stock Exchange for their ads in the Wall Street Journal. He is a proud member of the Portrait Institute in New York City and the American Society of Portrait Artists.
